Thank you for choosing our shower enclosures! We are dedicated to ensuring the best experience for you with our products and want to assist you in maintaining them for a fresh and timeless look. This document is prepared to guide you in caring for your shower enclosures, ensuring they last a lifetime. Rest assured, we are committed to providing the support you need, and our team is here for you in case of any concerns or issues. We believe in being transparent with our customers and this is one step we’ve taken to ensure that you have a good experience. 


Please note: BathStory uses Weatherseal silicone sealant to ensure your shower enclosure is water tight, and this is applied by our technique once the installation is completed. This silicon takes 8 hours to dry once applied, hence we request you to not use the bathroom for 8 hours. This will be crucial to ensure your shower enclosure remains water tight for as long as possible.


Tips for Glass Care:


Wipe It Down: After every shower, first use a squeegee or wiper to remove excess water from the glass surface. Then, use a soft cloth (preferably a microfiber cloth) to dry the glass. While it is preferred to perform this ritual after every shower, it is advisable to do it as often as possible to avoid stains on the glass.


Be Gentle: Avoid harsh scrubbers or strong cleaners like acids or bleach. Mild soap will do the trick. Do not use any detergent on the hardware as it may lead to early corrosion.


Monthly Ritual: Have white vinegar at home(cooking vinegar, not industrial grade)? Mix it with equal parts water and spray it on the glass. Wait a bit, then wipe it dry. Ensure that the ratio of water to cooking vinegar is 1:1. Using vinegar in any amount stronger than this will violate the warranty. Vinegar should only be used if the glass isn’t nanocoated as vinegar could potentially wear off the nano coating layer. Alternatively you can use gentle, commercially available cleaning and care products. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, alcohol, nitro thinner, or any similar harsh substances under any circumstances.


Tips for Hardware Maintenance:


Don't Use the Harsh Stuff: For hardware parts, never use bleach or anything strong like alcohols or acids, as this would violate the warranty. A dab of mild soap will keep them gleaming. Don’t forget to wipe them dry with a soft cloth immediately after. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, alcohol, nitro thinner, or any similar harsh substances under any circumstances.


Give it a Check: Every now and then, inspect the hardware. If something feels a bit wobbly, be ready to book our service.


Sounds: If you hear any unusual sounds when opening or closing your enclosure, it could be due to lack of lubrication, corrosion, rusting, or loosened screws. It is recommended to get this checked by BathStory’s team. You can book a service with us at care@bathstory.in , and we will resolve it for you.


Tips for Silicon & Sealant Maintenance:


Check the Silicon and Sealant: If the rubber seals change color or fade, it might be time for a change to keep things watertight. This also applies to silicon. Seals normally wear out after a few years of use. If you want BathStory to replace your seal, you can book our service at care@bathstory.in.


General Tips:


Fresh Air is Good: Let your bathroom breathe. Good ventilation equals a happy shower. It keeps your bathroom clean and avoids the growth of mould and unwanted guests.

  2. Should you encounter any issues, we're here to help! Our dedicated team will address your concerns through either repair or replacement, in accordance with the terms outlined in this document. While we can't explicitly guarantee replacement, our goal is to find the best solution for you.
  3. We take pride in the meticulous craftsmanship of our designs to minimize any potential issues. In the rare event that you face a concern, our focus is on effective repairs whenever possible.
  4. Only BathStory or its Authorized Service Franchisee has the expertise to service, repair, or replace products under this warranty within a reasonable period, as determined by BathStory or its Authorized Service Franchisee.
  5. For your peace of mind, please keep your original sales invoice handy, as proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims or requests.
  6. It's important to note that this warranty doesn't cover any additional taxes or duties. However, we assure you that our warranty remains effective as long as the product has been used according to the care instructions provided.
  7. Our warranty automatically expires at the end of the specified period, even if the product hasn't been installed or used during that time. However, if repairs or replacements are made, the warranty continues for the remaining duration.
  8. Please be aware that reckless handling of the product nullifies the warranty. To ensure the longevity of your BathStory product, follow the care instructions provided. Issues arising from excessive water impurities or improper care and cleaning are not covered, so make sure to adhere to the guidelines in the care instructions.
  9. Refer to Table 1 for details on the warranty period and applicable fees. While we strive for perfection, if you do encounter a defective product, rest assured that our liability is limited to the purchase price. We're here to help, and your satisfaction is our priority!
  10. In the rare event that components or parts become unavailable for any reason, please be assured that neither BathStory, its Authorized Service Franchisee, nor the Dealer will be held responsible or liable for any delays in servicing or repairing your product. If the exact model or color is not available for replacement, rest assured that BathStory or its Authorized Service Franchisee will replace your defective product with an equivalent model or color.
  11. We want your experience with BathStory to be seamless and enjoyable. However, it's essential to note that this Limited Warranty does not cover claims for the loss of use or inconveniences resulting from damages caused by lightning, fire, flood, accidents, negligence, or misuse. Additionally, it excludes products damaged due to unauthorized installation, repairs, alteration, or modification by unapproved service organizations or individuals.
  12. At BathStory, we understand that circumstances may change. Therefore, we retain the right to amend our terms and conditions. Please be assured that any amendments will apply with respect to both current and past transactions, ensuring fairness and transparency.

Explanation of Table 1


  1. Hardware
    1. Rusting: At BathStory, we prioritise durability with our brass and SS304 fittings, ensuring resistance to corrosion and rust. However, extreme water hardness (>200 Calcium Carbonate mg/L ppm) can lead to corrosion or early rusting. The warranty will be void if the water hardness is above 200 Calcium Carbonate mg/L ppm. If rusting occurs within the permissible limits in the 1st year, we resolve it at no cost. From 1-7 years, a nominal service fee applies, borne by the customer.
    2. Defective Hardware: Any naturally occurring damage to the hardware, including breakage, dents, or issues affecting stability, is covered under warranty. 
    3. Hardware Deshading: Brass and stainless steel finish may naturally lose colour over a few years. However, if this happens in the first year of use, we will take responsibility for it and repair or replace it at no cost to you. However, after the first year, if you wish to replace a product due to changing appearance, reach out to BathStory's team. However, this comes at a product and service cost for the customer.
    4. Damage by external force: We strive to provide the highest quality fittings. In the rare instance of external forces causing damage, rest assured, we're here for you. Both product and service fees need to be covered by the customer, but our commitment to your satisfaction remains steadfast.

  1. Glass
    1. Scratches on Glass: Unidentified scratches at installation are not covered under warranty. Replacement is available, but the customer needs to cover the product and service fees.
    2. Glass Shaking: If your glass is shaking or unstable, it's covered under warranty up to 1 year at no cost. After 1 year, a service fee applies. 
    3. Nano Coating Issues: Shower enclosure warranty is 3 years. Regular cleaning, as per care instructions, is essential. Nanocoating makes cleaning easier, but it's not a no-clean surface. Prominent hard water stains on the glass are covered in the first year. From the 1st to 3rd year, a service fee is charged. After 3 years, contact us, but both product and service fees apply.
    4. Glass Breakage: Though glass is fragile, our toughened Saint Gobain glass is covered under warranty for 3 years. BathStory bears the cost in the first year, and a nominal service fee applies for the next two years.
    5. Hard Water Stains: Hard Water stains can't be prevented, but nanocoating makes cleaning easier. BathStory provides nano coating services. Contact us at care@bathstory.in  to book nano coating service which will be at a charge.
    6. Damage by external force: Damage caused by external forces is not covered under warranty. The customer must pay for both the product and service costs.

  1. Silicon and Seals
    1. Silicon and seals need regular checks. If they lose colour or strength within the first year, it's covered under warranty. In subsequent years, the customer pays product and service fees.


Note 1 - Warranty Claim Procedure:

In the unfortunate event that you need to make a warranty claim, our dedicated BathStory team will gladly conduct a site visit for the repair or replacement. Please note that a nominal charge may apply for this visit as per Table 1 . Rest assured, the repair or replacement will be carried out by our experienced team with a focus on resolving the on-site issue, taking into account the applicable warranty terms as of the visit date. Your satisfaction is our top priority!
